A couple that prays together stays together.

I love when my boyfriend and i pray together. No matter what we both are going through it's a time i feel we connect most intimately. When we pray it's like God has cut out everything happening around me. I don't worry about anything. Praying with my boyfriend is like inviting God to come in and completely consume us. For those brief moments we pray together i feel pure as snow and i feel a love that is completely unlike anything this world could give me. Praying with my boyfriend brings us closer. When we pray we are vulnerable and willing to be raw and real. Praying with my boyfriend is something that makes me fall in love with him even more. Inviting the author of love to come and be present in our silence together is absolutely beautiful.

♪ ♫ ♩ ♬ ♭

This song helps me start the day.<3

"Good Morning"
(feat. TobyMac)
Wave away my yesterday
Cause I'm leaving it behind me.
Hello sunshine, come what may.
I feel something new inside me.
I hear the birds singing
Now my alarm's ringing
Get up, get up, hey!

It's a good morning!
Wake up to a brand new day
This morning,
I'm stepping, stepping on my way
Good morning,
You give me strength,
You give me just what I need
And I can feel the hope that's rising in me.
It's a good morning

Slow down, breathe in,
Don't move ahead
I'm just living in this moment
I've got my arms raised, un-phased
Jump out of bed
Gotta get this party going
I went to bed dreaming,
You woke me up singing
Get up, get up, hey!

It's a good morning!
Wake up to a brand new day
This morning,
I'm stepping, stepping on my way
Good morning,
You give me strength,
you give me just what I need
And I can feel the hope that's rising up in me.
It's a good morning

Now I'm smiling, and I'm kissing all my worries goodbye
Got the feeling, if I spread my wings I might even fly
You are my truth, my way
Give me the strength to say
Get up, get up, get up
Cause it's a good morning, hey

Mr. Mac to the mic

[Toby Mac]
Hey, top of the morning to you 'disa
You smoothie, me ice cold pizza
Cafe au lait, latte dah
You do the zumba, but I do not
Give me like half a marathon,
I'll give you the gospel of St. John.
Hits me like a wake-up bomb
Cuz' we both know that His mercy flows,
In the morning.

Wake up to a brand new day
This morning,
I'm stepping, stepping on my way
Good morning,
You give me strength,
you give me just what I need
I can feel the hope that's rising up in me.
It's a good morning
Wake up to a brand new day
This morning,
I'm stepping, stepping on my way
Good morning,
You give me strength you give me just what I need
I can feel the hope that's rising up in me.
It's a good morning

[Toby Mac]
Top of the morning to you 'disa
Hey, top of the morning to you girl
To-to-top of the morning to you 'disa
Morning little Miss Sunshine.
[Spoken]
Man, you morning people.
No, I'm serious

Putting on my crown

Ladies there is so much freedom in listening to God's standard of beauty > the worlds. Listening to God define my beauty has change every struggle I have had with body image. The Lords word is true & his word says I'm his. A princess. A woman with virtue. Thank you Jesus for freedom from these chains. I love who he made me to be ♥ finally!

Lean on me. To my best friend Karen.

Sometimes in our lives
We all have pain
We all have sorrow
But if we are wise
We know that there's always tomorrow

Lean on me, when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
'Til I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on

Please swallow your pride
If I have things you need to borrow
For no one can fill those of your needs
That you won't let show
[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/b/bill_withers/lean_on_me.html ]
You just call on me brother, when you need a hand (Chorus)
We all need somebody to lean on
I just might have a problem that you'd understand
We all need somebody to lean on

Second Verse
(Chorus)

If there is a load you have to bear
That you can't carry
I'm right up the road
I'll share your load
If you just call me
(Chorus)
Call me (if you need a friend)
Call me (call me)
Call me (if you need a friend)
Call me (if you ever need a friend)
Call me (call me)
Call me
Call me (if you need A friend)

Realization to past post.

I’m not saying celebrities aren’t gorgeous women and men. They are! God created all of us. Even the sons and daughters who don’t recognize him as their God. They are beautiful regardless of how nude they pose or how crazy they party. I’m not saying they aren’t beautiful. I don’t think beautiful is a yes or no thing. I believe beautiful is a ALWAYS is thing. I just don’t agree with their actions and the results of them.

Her Red Lips & Perfect hips? His toned body & Perfect smile?

Her red lipstick leaves pouty lip marks all along his neck. Her perfect hair stays in place through out her attempted murder and embarkment 007 style down a hallway underground. She attacks and kills in 6 inch red bottomed heels all while staying strong and solid. She’s every mans dream or is she every mans lust?
Guns are blazing from all around him. He’s running down the street while maintaining a zoolander-isk face. He is perfectly chiseled and perfectly maintained. Fighting off the enemy with just enough realistic blood on his face for us to admire his victory and his beauty. He drinks, he sleeps around and he has the accessories to assume he’s a big success. He’s every women’s dream or is he every women’s lust?
I’m just as guilty. I’m just as normal as every other girl my age. I remember in high school having pictures of Travis Barker and Carey Hart on my binder. I remember seeing movies and wanting to be the just right amount of curvy with red lipstick the men on the big screen would chase after or embark on mission with. (yes secret agent Casey was on my mind) But when i found Christ something sparked in me about this false persona media puts out onto women. Christ put something in my heart about how much of this we applaud. I can’t tell you enough how much of a fire is lit up inside me. Right beside my patched up heart and hardly hanging but somehow staying together self. A spark that blasts off when i see us ladies and you gentlemen post about these sexy, alluring, rich, cut, toned, perfectly put together, barbie type, flawless and promiscuous celebrities (the list could go on but today i feel like it may get to me if i continue even more..considering my warn out sweats and tank top isn’t really attractive). When i see posts about how “hott, sexy, perfect” or how “this is my future wife, my girl, my boy, my husband” all over face book it bothers me. Why? What do they do for your walk in Christ? Your man is someone who supports a image in his latest film about a man sleeping with women everyother night and never calling them back? Your woman supports a girl who walks around half naked sleeping around and caring only about the latest vogue magazine or what shoes go with what? I don’t understand.
As a women of God i can’t help but ask a simple question: Are you applauding something you want to encourage? Since when does our Christian walk say it’s okay to post half naked men and women all over our pages just because they are “famous” and “cute”? Now don’t get me wrong. I’m not one of the crazy bible thumpers. I forget to pray all the time, I’m not perfect, I mess up, I have bad thoughts and life is just as hard to me as it is you. But does anyone agree?
Men and women of God let’s team up. Let’s support one another! Let’s encourage MODESTY, PURITY, VIRTUE and CHRISTLIKE behaviors. Ladies take down the picture of paul walker driving 100mph down the freeway (or channing tatum). Men take down the pictures of women half dressed (even though i love her shoes to in the picture i doubt that you notice them in the way i do). Put up CHRIST. Let’s come together and encourage one another. Society can be the death of both sexes. Together in Christ let’s unite and encourage the truth of how our walk and determination of beauty should be.
